In 2014, Josh Zorger founded Fortitude Private Wealth with the vision of helping his clients decode the complex financial services industry by focusing on the financial factors that are controllable. He believes that addressing these controllable factors, such as minimizing investment cost and maximizing tax efficiency, should increase the probability of his clients achieving their long-term financial goals. Honest and straightforward, Josh treats his clients like they are members of his own family. He understands and appreciates that the success of Fortitude Private Wealth is directly correlated with the financial success of his clients.
Josh is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner. By earning certification by the CFP Board, he has taken extra-steps to demonstrate his professionalism by voluntarily submitting to the rigorous CFP® certification process that includes highly demanding education, examination, experience and ethical requirements.
Josh grew up in northeastern Indiana. He relocated to Chicago after graduating from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business to pursue a career in finance. He started his career at Bank of America in Chicago as a securities analyst within structured credit products, performing pricing and risk analysis on credit derivatives portfolios. He later joined Banc of America Investment Services in Chicago as a financial advisor. In 2007, Josh became in independent financial advisor with LPL Financial. Recently, Josh made the decision to end his affiliation with a broker-dealer and make Fortitude Private Wealth an independent, fee-only registered investment advisory firm.
After living in Chicago for over 10 years, Josh and his wife, Stephanie, decided to relocate to Indiana in order to move closer to family. Even though the main office for Fortitude Private Wealth is located in Carmel, the firm serves many clients in the Chicagoland area and within a total of 9 states.
